Memories of Bagenalstown
Memories of Bagenalstown
The Nifty Fifty group have written and illustrated a book called “Memories of Bagenalstown”. The book contains memories that might otherwise be lost, forgotten or kept silent and have been recently released to rekindle a community spirit.
The group have been participating in creative writing classes with Lissa Oliver and watercolour painting classes with Roland Byrne to showcase their dialogical art and paintings.
This Nifty Fifty group project has been made possible through the Creative Places Bagenalstown initiative, led by Carlow County Council Arts Service (Carlow Arts Office). Creative Places Bagenalstown is part of the national Creative Places programme developed and funded by the Arts Council.
